This colorful, large etching (18th c.?) depicts a festival procession up to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem for the purpose of offering the Harvest Fruits of Succoth. The print, which is hand-colored, is in very good condition with a few small spots and dirt smudges, a small tear on the left edge that is outside the image and repairs (on the reverse side) to the original, central fold.

This striking lithograph by Moshe Gershuni, one of Israel's most noted artists, is among a group of prints made at the Jerusalem Print Workshop during 1984 - a series that featured the colors of black and red. The text in the image derives from verse 24 in Psalm 104, How manifold are Your works. O Lord! In Wisdom have You made them all; the earth is full of Your creatures. The print is in excellent condition and is signed (in Hebrew) and dated (1984) in pencil on the lower left.paper dimensions: height - 15" x 22"

This print is one of a group based on the original David Moss Haggadah entitled A Song of David. The 10 plagues are listed, each within a decorative plaque Around each plaque is the appropriate description from Exodus in micrographic lettering. In using an attractive design Moss, "turn[s] the horror of the plagues into a strange and wonderful beauty." The print is shipped flat in a paper folio.

The Bezalel workshop prepared this beautiful print celebrating Shabbat in the Salonika synagogue. The lithograph has a typical Bezalel design - Jewish and orientalist symbols combined with an art nouveau style.

The condition of the print is good. The entire piece has been backed with thin archival paper. The print was folded into quarters at one time leaving visible creases with a tiny pinhole in the center; a few small paper losses at the top left and bottom right corners, and nicks along the borders have been repaired; there is faint staining of the lower right corner into the image and very light dirt stains at the top left corner that do not affect the image; and, finally, the paper has aging tone over the entire surface. The image overall is clean, bright, and strong.

Amalya Nini has set a Home Blessing at the center of a round laser-cut decoration of flowers, birds and vines, and within a gilded center. The laser cut has been backed with hand colored paper. The piece, signed (Amalya Nini) and numbered (2/250) along the lower margin, will be sent flat in an acid free mount.
