A circular piece of Roman glass has been encased within a sterling silver setting. On the reverse of the case are stamped the initials RL, 925 to indicate sterling, and Israel the location of manufacture. The bale of this hand crafted piece is extended into a visually interesting coil at the center of the glass circle. The pendant (7/8” diameter) comes with a 17” sterling silver chain.

Seven size-graded, approximately circular pieces of translucent Roman glass are strung together on knotted twine with blue bead separation. The ends of the twine are attached to sterling silver links making a chain 17 1/2 inches long. The largest glass piece varies in diameter from 1 1/8” to 1 1/4“.

This 1979 poster advertising the Jerusalem Hilton entices the viewer to step out onto the balcony to view the sights of both the Old City and the modern city - a magnificent, albeit fictional scene. And a poster that is sure to become a classic. Ori Hofmekler, the artist is a graduate of the Bezalel Academy and has had an active career as an illustrator and political cartoonist. The poster, in excellent condition with only some handling marks, will be shipped rolled in a tube.

Keren Kayemet L’Yisrael (KKL) published this charming (photo-offset lithograph poster). In a naïf style, the romanticized image is of a tractor rolling along a road through the fertile fields of the Gallilee. The title is “The Gallilee”, below which is an attribution to the women’s division of the organization. The poster is undated.

This mezuzah was designed by the Israeli artist Ori Grader. The cylindrical body has a lacey pattern set with a decorative, patinated green tree. (The artist’s name is stamped into the reverse side.)

Although undated, we believe that this Telma store card is from the 70’s – 80’s. The ad promotes Telma instant soups. The graphic suggests that (presumably) hot water and a dried powder are being mixed together in a cup to make a gourmet concoction. And the consumer has a choice among chicken, beef, onion and tomato. An exellently designed commercial image with the bright eye-catching yellow and a simple graphic that immediately "tells" us how to use what is being advertised. The card is in excellent condition – there are no visible creases or losses and the color is still bright.
